1. Leathered Brown Granite for a Textured and Matte Look in the White Cabinets Design
Here is the first design example that we want you to take a look at. We chose it because of the unique material used in it.
The item that we meant earlier is none other but the brown granite countertop used as the pair for the antique white cabinets. It is not just a regular granite material but a leathered one.
For you who are not yet familiar with leathered granite, it has undergone a special treatment that finally gives it not only a matte finish but also a textured one. As you can see in the picture, the visual is so unique.
Of course, the countertops are not the only thing that we love here. We also like that the homeowner chose antique or off-white paint instead of the cleaner and more pure one.
This white color excellently matches the appearance of the leathered brown granite countertops, including also the knobs and pulls. Besides, it also looks suitable to match the travertine subway tiles used as the backsplash.
In this project, the brown granite is new, and the white cabinets are already there. In other words, it is a remodeling project in which new countertops are added to the antique white kitchen furniture.
2. Glazed White Cabinets: A Perfect Match for Tropic Brown Granite
When we talk about brown granite, Tropic Brown is an option that often occurs or even suggested. If you have never heard of it before, it is the one that has the combination of brown, black, and sometimes tan too. The black and tan usually come in the form of speckles as the details of the granite.
This material is the one that you can see in the next inspirational design in this traditional kitchen. Here, you can see the combination of white cabinets and Tropic Brown granite countertops.
There are several things that we love about this design, particularly about the cabinet design. The first is about using the Tropic Brown granite material that is not only for the countertops for the cabinets but also for the island.
The second is about the white cabinets. If you look closely, it is not only a regular white one but a glazed one.
The cabinet’s main material is the pre-finished product of Crystal Cabinets Works, and it is in Frosty White color. As you can see in the recessed parts, it has a darker look that resulted from a glazing process using a product of General Finishes called Van Dyke Brown. This detail might be small, but it looks like it significantly enhances the elegant visual in the kitchen.
The whole combination between the white glazed cabinets and the Tropic Brown granite countertops also looks nice together with the tiled backsplash with a mosaic detail in the middle. This detailing also makes the backsplash suitable with the whole color scheme built in the overall cabinet design.
3. Making Leathered Brown Granite and White Cabinets Looks Even More Stylish by Using Stainless-Steel Appliances
You can try to match the brown granite countertops and white cabinets with stainless-steel appliances for adding a style value. As you may already know, these items commonly have a direct connection with the kitchen furniture.
As an example, you can take a look at the cabinet design shown in the picture. This furniture has a simple, clean white color. Thanks to the leathered brown granite countertops, it looks elegant instead of too ordinary.
As we already told you earlier, we are also interested in using stainless-steel appliances in the design, including the refrigerator, range hood, dishwasher, stove, stand mixer, and coffee maker. All of them have a direct connection with the white cabinets to affect the style value of the kitchen furniture.
While the brown granite countertops and other dark colors tend to give elegance to the interior, the white cabinets, and the stainless-steel show style value even more. Something like this is just perfect for a place designed for cooking like this. It can even unconsciously create a thought that everything cooked in there is clean and hygienic.
4. Stunning Kitchen View with Custom Stone Hood, White Cabinets, and Brown Granite Countertops
One of the best things about pairing brown granite and white cabinets in a kitchen design is that both colors are neutral. It makes it easier for you to place any other color in the room, especially those that will directly connect with the cabinetry.
We found an excellent example, and you must take a look at it in the picture. It shows the combination of brown granite countertops and white cabinets, but the photo focuses on the stove area.
There is a certain reason why we choose this picture instead of the others that show the kitchen cabinets’ whole look. We want you to see how the custom stone range hood also looks good together with the two elements without even ruining the design.
The stone brick material even comes in multi-color that makes it even easier to match with other items in the surrounding. For example, the light brown brick color looks like a good match for the antique brown leathered granite countertops.
On the other hand, the tan color seems well with the off-white cabinets and backsplash. It even has a grey color that becomes a good match with the oven stove if you look closely.
5. Creamy White Cabinets, Brown Granite Countertops, and Copper Knobs for Elegant Visual
If you want to focus more on the elegance from the combination between the cabinets and the countertops, you must focus on everything that becomes part of the furniture design. In this case, we want to talk more specifically about the hardware.
These items may be small. However, it can significantly affect the visual of the whole furniture. The best thing to do is, of course choosing something that matches the color scheme.
You can take a look at the picture above as an example. In this traditional kitchen design, the cabinet’s color is creamy white, and it is paired nicely with Tropic Brown granite countertops.
The hardware used here consists of knobs and pulls. If you look closely, you will find that the color is copper.
There is a hint of brown in it so that it still looks compatible being in the color theme of the whole kitchen cabinet design. The best thing of all, copper is also a color of beauty and elegance so that it is still suitable for the main topic we talk about here.
6. Brown Granite, White Cabinets, and Copper Sink: A Gorgeous Combination to Try
The white cabinets with brown granite countertops can look interesting and elegant, not only when you pair them with copper hardware. You can pick something more noticeable like a sink for an even better chance of stealing attention if you want to.
The natural color of the copper will not only complement the cabinets and granite countertops color. For you to know, it will also boost the elegance in the room because of the beautiful, distinctive look.
An example of this idea exists in the picture. It shows a copper farmhouse sink in white raised-panel cabinets paired with leathered brown granite countertops.
To complete the fabulous appearance, a black single-hole faucet is added. This plumbing fixture looks good to pair with the granite countertops because both are similar because they have dark themes.
7. Copper Brown Granite as Other Option for Your White Cabinets
Brown granite countertops like the ones that you have already seen previously are not the only options available. FYI, the material exists in some different appearances. Of course, it is good news because this way, you can get the tone that you think to be the most suitable for the white cabinet specifically and the kitchen color scheme generally.
An example that we want to show you here is copper brown granite, like the one you can see in the countertops used in the traditional kitchen photo above. Compared to the previous ones, it has a brighter look and a rust impression in the speckles.
The same thing that you can find from this brown granite type is the neutral value. Again we say that the picture already has lots of proofs about this.
The most prominent is, of course, seen from the cabinet design. The copper brown granite countertops look fine, being directly connected to the antique white cabinets. At the same time, it also looks good being at the top of the brown island in the center of the room.
All those are very clear proofs that the neutral appearance of the granite material is something beneficial. It even creates a coordinating detail in between the white cabinets and brown island that are different.
8. Cozy White Glazed Kitchen Desk Cabinets with Brown Granite Countertops
The pros about keeping a cabinet desk in the kitchen are that it provides you a charging station for your gadgets like smartphones and laptops and even a place for working or taking notes while cooking. When the design looks like the one you see in the picture, this furniture can even provide extra storage to declutter your kitchen.
If a cabinet desk is a furniture that you have in the kitchen, considering making it have a coordinating look with the main storage cabinetry is an excellent idea to do. Of course, in this case, we talk about painting the desk in white and give a brown granite top to it as done in the picture.
The best detail that we love from the desk is the cozy look resulting from the combination of the white glazed look and the brown granite top. It can make it even more comfortable for you to use the desk to work or even take some notes without leaving the foods you are cooking.
9. White Cabinets, Crown Molding, and Brown Granite for an Elegant, Luxurious Look
The pairing between brown granite and white cabinets can also create a luxurious look. In this case, it would be better for you to add some other elements to get a more excellent final look.
Please take a look at the raised-panels cabinets. The paint used to color was Benjamin Moore Cloud White OC-130, which belongs to the warm white category. The visual is a bit different because it also got a custom antique glaze as the top coat. This glazing idea is something that can strengthen the elegant as well as the luxurious look of the kitchen furniture.
The tropical brown granite countertops also emit a luxurious visual. This element even matches the medium-tone hardwood flooring, and it finally perfects everything.
Another detail to consider is the custom crown molding used to connect the upper part of the wall cabinets with the ceiling. That is not the only function. The most important role is to boost the luxurious feel of the whole furniture design with decorative details.
10. Clean Impression with The Combination of Clean White Cabinets, Brown Granite, and Silver Colors
Now, let us talk about inspiration on how to make the kitchen look clean while still pairing brown granite and white cabinets together. In this case, the main focus that we should not forget is white paint’s choice to color the furniture.
A stronger clean impression can be seen when you choose pure white paint instead of the one from the antique, warm, or even off-white categories. A good example is Benjamin Moore Decorator’s White CC-20 used to color the cabinets in the picture.
The choice of Brown Shada granite countertops in this design is also excellent. It matches the colors of the hardwood flooring as well as wooden interior columns. It creates a coordinating impression that can also affect the clean view in there.
The last but not least detail that can also represent cleanliness is the addition of silver color from some items placed in the kitchen to match the white cabinet design. Those include stainless-steel appliances, cabinets hardware, pendant lights, and faucets.
11. Brown Granite Countertops for White and Brown Kitchen Cabinets
Some kitchen cabinets come in a multi-tone design. It means, in a place, there is not only one color used for the furniture.
In the traditional kitchen design above, for example, the base and wall cabinets are in white, and the island cabinets are in brown. FYI, both of them are the custom products of Mullet Cabinet.
On the other hand, the brown granite countertops here become an element suitable to pair with all of the wall, base, and island cabinets. As a matter of fact, it even perfects the color scheme of this kitchen interior.
12. Brown Oven-Stove as Excellent Pair for White Cabinets with Brown Granite Countertops
In this last but not least inspiration, we will see a bit different combination. It is not only about the use of brown granite on top of white cabinets, but also the inclusion of brown oven-stove. We love how the kitchen looks, particularly on the existence of brown details in there.
You can see that the stove and the countertops are not the only brown items you can find in the design. The white cabinets also come with brown pulls, simple details that complete the gorgeous look. FYI, the cabinets used here are the creation of Baywood Cabinet.
